**Please note: This program has been approved by GCSAA for .35 PDI Educational Points and 3 hrs of "Other" for DPR.**
Enjoy a day of touring native grass and wildflower seed production fields, tour the seed mill, seed barn, nursery and walk the demonstration gardens used for evaluation and studies on individual wildflower varieties and mixes for pollinators, erosion control and habitat restoration. The tours will be guided by personnel from Hedgerow Farms, Pacific Coast Seed and S & S Seeds.
Attendance is limited to 2 people from any facility.
Pacific Coast Seed and Hedgerow Farms are partnering to provide a tremendous opportunity for practical, hands-on learning about California’s native grasses and wildflowers for golf courses.
- Learn from the experts about native grass/wildflower production, establishment and maintenance.
- Mingle and make connections with colleagues in the golf course industry.
- Enjoy walking tours within demonstration garden, seed mill, nursery and native plant production fields.
1:30 p.m. shotgun Golf tournament to follow at Wild Wings Golf Course.
Lunch is provided. Bring a water bottle and comfortable clothing for outdoor activities.
